Description
Our natural Rose Damascena essential oil for pharmaceuticals is obtained from the plant with the botanical name Rosa damascena. The product bears the name Rose Damascena natural essential oil for pharmaceuticals. The species finds conditions for its development in Bulgaria and belongs to the botanical family Rosaceae. The family comprises a large number of woody and herbaceous species distributed mainly in the temperate zones, and its members are distinguished by abundant flowering. The cultivation of the species in the country takes place with care for the soil and the plantations. The plantations yield flowers from which the oil obtains its yellow, yellow-green and amber colour. The colour accompanies the liquid consistency, while the scent remains dense and sweet. The scent unfolds a rich character with clearly perceptible notes of roses. The strength of the fragrance remains high, as steam distillation transfers the volatile fraction from the flowers into the finished liquid almost without changing its character. The Bulgarian origin of the raw material and the natural cultivation method outline the advantages. Added to them is a strong aroma that retains its fullness throughout the entire volume of the liquid. The aroma is due to the entirely pure composition, in which geraniol, citronellol and nerol remain leading among the volatile terpene alcohols in the composition of the oil. Moreover, the composition remains natural in its entirety, and preservatives and colourants are absent. Their absence also stems from the natural cultivation method, which preserves the natural profile of the oil. The liquid retains the deep amber tone and the sweet fragrance of the flowers.
